Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 5 October 2026
RailFolio is a railway community service operated by Paul Wyn Martin, trading as RailFolio. These standards apply to all accounts, photographs, sightings, comments, profiles and other activity on RailFolio.
Our standards
RailFolio strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). For these standards, a child is anyone under 18. You must not use RailFolio to create, upload, share, request, promote or facilitate such material or behaviour, including links to it elsewhere.
Prohibited behaviour includes grooming, sexual solicitation of children, sexualisation of children, sexual extortion, and trafficking or exploitation of children. These prohibitions also apply to synthetic or AI-generated material depicting child sexual abuse.
Age requirements
RailFolio is intended for people aged 18 and over. This age restriction does not reduce our commitment to protecting children. Accounts believed to belong to someone under 18 may be restricted while reviewed and removed where appropriate.
How to report a concern
Use RailFolio’s in-app reporting tools to report content or accounts that raise child-safety concerns. You can also contact [email protected] with the subject “Child safety concern”.
Include the relevant username, a link or identifier for the content if available, and a brief description of your concern. Do not download, copy, attach or forward suspected child sexual abuse material. You do not need to investigate the content yourself before reporting it.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services immediately. RailFolio is not an emergency service.
How we respond
Our policy is to prioritise child-safety reports and review the relevant content and accounts. When we become aware of child sexual abuse material, we take action to remove it or disable access to it. Accounts involved in child sexual abuse or exploitation are subject to restriction, suspension or termination.
We handle relevant records securely and limit access to those who need them to address the concern. Any preservation or disclosure of records is carried out in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
Reporting to authorities
RailFolio will report confirmed child sexual abuse material to the relevant regional or national authority, or to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children where applicable. We cooperate with lawful requests from the appropriate authorities and comply with applicable child-safety laws.
Child-safety contact
Paul Wyn Martin, operator of RailFolio, is the designated child-safety contact responsible for handling concerns and coordinating enforcement and reporting.
Email: [email protected]. This contact also handles child-safety enquiries from Google Play and relevant authorities.
